
The goal of this project was to turn a nearly unusable and unfinished basement into extra living and playing space for the homeowner's growing family. Eco-friendly materials such as cork, recycled glass and no-VOC paint was used.
Wet bar area before

New wet bar designed for simplicity and clean lines. Glass tile backsplash, concrete countertop, slate flooring and undercabinet lighting

TV Area before

Plenty of space for yoga with comfortable cork flooring, new lighting and in-wall sound system

The new storage area has stained concrete flooring--easy and inexpensive for a low-key area

New bathroom added. Slate on floor and shower walls along with river rock shower floor.


Simple glass wall acts as water barrier while showing off beautiful tilework

By moving the laundry room to the basement, homeowners are able to take advantage of extra mudroom space upstairs.
